  • Dismissal of the President of the Board of Directors during a board meeting.
Advisor to the company and/or employees
  • Advised companies and recruiting agencies on legal duties and responsibilities in connection with the recruiting process (soliciting employees, data protection and privacy including insurance related questions).
  • Advised employers as well as employees on various data protection and privacy duties and responsibilities regarding employment relationship aspects, the handling of personal data, including the exchange of data between insurance companies and employers.
  • Advised employers as well as employees regarding the drafting of reference letters as well as in connection with the rendering of personal oral references.
  • Provided numerous oral references for former team members of mine.
  • Advised individuals and companies on and implementation of numerous employment agreements of all kind including termination agreements on all levels as well as agreements with senior executives.
  • Provided among others as a member of the Extended Swiss Site Leadership Team at Huntsman Basel legal support to the HR department in connection with questions outside of the ordinary course of business and more often than not in an international context such as:
    • mass dismissal procedures,
    • employee invention entitlements,
    • employee participation schedules relating to businesses that have been taken over,
    • special contracts, etc.

  • Based on the respective tax structure, advised on civil law aspects and implemented various incentive compensation plans of all types considering corporate governance aspects including equity based schemes and the drafting of communication materials and securities compliance requirements.
