About the Firm

My law practice focuses on advising corporate clients and organizations as well as individuals in their business environment, roles and functions to help them meet and exceed their objectives in proactively managing the legal aspects of their business challenges and ventures with tailored, commercially sensitive strategies.

As an independently-operated boutique, my advice is based on a multi-decade track record of non-legal as well as legal in-house and outside counsel leadership roles, managing a very wide diversity of matters, mostly in cross-border settings and having weathered many storms.

Clients appreciate me offering sound judgement and knowledge of human nature of very high order considering the “bigger picture” that comes with (life) experience, the basis of great gut instincts, too, as well as the ability to deal with volatility.

In times of increasing complexity and stakeholder expectations and discussions about what is the right and wrong way to e.g. use new technologies as well as considering a 24/7 news cycle, this broad and deep experience including my political experience is a great asset in particular in emergency situations and when collaborating with diverse, international teams as well when speed is key.

Serving as an early sounding board for new ideas helps to secure all options and having better choices.

Also, the close collaboration in an interdisciplinary setting with other company representatives, functions and – if you need an independent, tailormade, agile team – with dedicated experts of all kind from my network is key for creating sustainable solutions.

Most recently, I complemented my leadership experience with an education in value based systemic coaching to be even better able to support people tackling challenges based on their values and hence in a sustainable manner, integrating ethical aspects with a long-term perspective focus on consequences, being aware of the “human factor” (behavioral acceptance of cultural transformations and change).
